Let me introduce myself: My name is Corinne Lumens and I am a graphic designer for advertising and marketing, painter, artist and collector of anything vintage. By day, I’m the Marketing and Communications Specialist for the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and by night (and weekend), I’m the co-owner, designer, buyer and marketer of Clink Haus.

A little history: As a child, whenever anyone asked me what I wanted to do when I “grew up,” I would always answer that I wanted to paint the streets of Paris. Taking every art class available throughout school (and even some that weren’t offered), I learned everything from graphic design to painting, stained glass to drawing, and anything else I could get my hands on. Now I focus my arts primarily in the direction of advertising and marketing, which connects my love of art with my being raised in the world of business and retail.

My creative talents also encompass singing and acting (I have had leading roles in several musicals in local community theatre), and I have received ribbons and awards for paintings, collage and quilt making. I am also very passionate about travel, historic preservation, and collecting just about anything vintage. I find it tantalizing to watch the progression of design and styles over time and I’m starting to think that I follow more design blogs on social media than I do friends!

My favorite part of every journey is getting to see new artistic endeavors, whether it be in advertising or local artists.  My very favorite is getting to experience the wonders of Europe where the history of art and design is right at my finger tips. I lived temporarily in Germany, and while I am conversant in German, I still hope to master the German language. I continued my travels with a tour of my family name’s place of heritage in Belgium and a watercolor painting and illustration course in Southern France. Recently, I have been expanding my travel palette on the road by exploring more of the West Coast of America. My list of “must-visit” travel grows daily and I just keep working on it…whenever I can find the time to do so!

I hope you enjoy my work; feel free to contact me with any questions,
